Scar Man, Car Man... Corman.

So, apparently this is a thing: Roger Corman is prducing a sequel/equal to one of his greatest and most influential movies, Death Race 2000.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Statham remake. DVD, et cetera. But still - this is Corman; the last thing we could accuse the man of is an unfaithful, cynical big-budget remake. It'll have NO budget!

The other thing that needs to be said is that I have a TERRIBLE track record advance-endorsing doomed movies.

So I'm not endorsing this one at all.
